Chantelle Cameron Added To 3rd March Card

In her first World Title defence, IBO World female lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron (5-0) will take on former two-time World Title challenger Myriam Dellal on 3rd March at the SSE Hydro, Glasgow.

Cameron, from Northampton will be looking to impress on her title-winning performance from December when she stopped Brazil’s Viviane Obenauf to claim the IBO World title.

The Main Event

Josh Taylor is undoubtably becoming one of the best Super Lightweights in world boxing. Last time out in Edinbugh he become the first man to stop former IBF world champion Miguel Vazquez.

Taylor is ranked highly by the WBC, IBF and WBO and a World Title shot can't be far away. But first he must face the tough Mexican Humberto Soto in Glasgow.

Undercard

The 3rd March fight night is entitled ‘Scotland’s Finest’ and will feature a number of highly rated Scottish professional boxers on an impressive undercard.

Jason Easton (11-0) will feature as main support. The IBO Inter-Continental super-lightweight champion will face Sunderland’s Glenn Foot (21-3) for the vacant Commonwealth Super Lightweight championship.

Charlie Flynn (10-0) will make his eleventh appearance as a professional in the Lightweight division in a 6 round contest.

Lee McGregor (2-0) will feature in an eight-round contest against former Scottish champion Scott Allan.

IBO Continental Heavyweight champion Martin Bakole (10-0) also features, along with Joe Ham and Iain Trotter.

The Super Lightweight showdown will be live and exclusive on Channel 5 in the UK, with the undercard covered on the Spike channel.
