After defeating Brits Anthony Crolla and Luke Campbell recently, the flamboyant Venezuelan is hoping to secure mouth-watering meetings with Vasyl Lomachenko and Mikey Garcia later this year.
However he cannot afford to take his eye off Gesta, who is trained by Freddie Roach.
Also on the card, Argentinian warrior Lucas Matthysse can finally claim world honours if he beats 38-0 Thai talent Tewa Kiram for the WBA World Welterweight Title.
